Padel Americano Generator
Everyone partners as many different players as possible, and every point you win counts toward your own total.
How Americano works
- Each round, players are split into pairs and sent to courts. You get a new partner every round.
- Each match is played to a fixed total of points, usually 16, 21, 24 or 32. Every rally counts, so a match to 24 can finish 15 to 9.
- Both players in a pair score the points their pair won. Your total keeps growing across all your matches.
- After the last round, the player with the most points wins.
Serving
A common rule is that each player serves four points in a row, then service passes to the next player. In a match to 16 everyone serves once. In a match to 32 everyone serves twice.
How many rounds?
With a multiple of four players, playing one fewer round than the number of players lets everyone partner everyone exactly once. With one extra player, for example 9, play the same number of rounds as players, and each person sits out once.

Questions
What is a padel Americano?
A social tournament format where partners rotate every round and each player collects the points their pair wins. The highest individual total wins.
How many points should we play to?
24 points suits a two hour court booking with 8 players. Use 16 for quick sessions or many rounds, and 32 for longer matches.
Can we play Americano with 6 or 7 players?
Yes. On one court, two or three players sit out each round in rotation, and you can rank by average points so it stays fair.
What if the scores end level?
With an even total like 24, a match can finish 12 to 12. Both pairs simply score 12. Use 21 if you want a winner every time.
